As he did with MB&F’s HM-3, Finninsh watchmaker Stepan Sarpaneva has contributed an expressive moonphase indicator to the brand’s HM-8 “Can-Am” timepiece. Moon Machine 2 features Sarpaneva’s slightly indignant moon design on the winding rotor visible through the top of the watch as well as a fully functional moonphase indicator that is visible along with the digital time display through a refracting crystal on the front of the watch. It’s a charming touch that provides an interesting counterpoint to the Can-Am’s fanciful lines. This piece comes with a titanium case on a black leather strap with light blue stitching and titanium deployant clasp. Limited edition of 12 pieces.
